What You Will Do Management of program supply parts to support multiple factories and possible plant sites. Manage a team consisting of multiple team members that support multiple factories and plant sites. Be responsible for managing team headcounts to appropriate accounting structure. Review, analyze and release purchase requisitions to Supply Chain in PRISM per MRP, including level loading were applicable. Support End Item by escalating constraints through Tiered accountability process to Senior Cross functional leadership. Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively working supplied material risk mitigation plans. Facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics Participates and lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with other departments Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience. You'll also develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product teams and will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities as well as assist with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW). The successful candidate will communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. What You Will Do: * Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives * Lead a team of 1 - 3 people in a matrixed organization * Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans * Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's) as well as labor basis of estimates (BOEs) * Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives * Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.). The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager. * Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. * Lead, develop and drive favorable performance for a team of 1-2 individual contributors (with opportunities to grow dependent on contract award requirements). * Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers * Management of timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management * Support MRP Scheduling and Master Data requests * Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be Qualifications You Must Have: * Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant supply chain experience or an advanced degree and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant supply chain experience * Experience with material requirements planning Qualifications We Prefer: * Advanced Microsoft Office skillset * Advanced Supply Chain Planning tool experience (i.e. SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis, MFT, ROMS, etc.) * Experience with proposals or material estimating * MPM Level 4 (or higher) Certification * EVMS Certification * PM Level 7 (or higher) Certification What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
