Essential Functions: * Follow up on all patient accounts with implantable expenses to ensure patients are appropriately charged. * Participate in cost savings initiatives and assist in the identification of cost-savings opportunities. * Provide backup support for surgery purchasing agent to ensure the purchasing needs of the department aremet. * Order all custom supplies necessary for cases, encouraging use of catalog items. * Submit new product paperwork, as necessary, to add non-catalog items into the system. * Document and track the order, receipt and disposal of all tissue items according to HFAP guidelines. * Remain current with surgical cases scheduled to ensure the appropriate tissue, implants and non-standardsupplies are ordered. * Support KHNs and HFAP Corporate Integrity and Compliance programs to ensure adherence to allgovernmental rules and regulations. * Manage time effectively, prioritizing multiple demands to ensure timely completion of tasks. * Assist department by acting as liaison/technical advisor (as necessary) between Patient Services and thefollowing entities: IS, BMET, and computer/software vendors. * Very detail orientated and able to review work for accuracy and completeness. Requirements: * High School Diploma * Ideally, 3 or more years experience in Materials Management, Processing, or surgical environment * Demonstrated leadership abilities * Strong goal orientation with desire to improve performance and outcomes. * Strong communication skills.
