**Supply Chain Technician** - One Supply Chain Management (OSCM) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California. OSCM's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
**Required qualifications:**

+ Coursework/Training: Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.

+ Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used.

+ Healthstream Customer Service Certification, or completed within 30 days of hire

**Preferred qualification:**

+ Medical materials management experience.

• Streamline and manage ordering process and error resolution process
• Manage e-commerce and EDI/EFT implementation
• Provide reports for regulatory agencies, accounting/auditing, and internal cost allocation reports
• Ensure accurate cylinder barcode tracking
• Maintain hand-helds and other technology support equipment
• Support the local branch 1-2 days per week and as needed to assist its deliveries, fulfill warehouse and yard responsibilities managing assigned customers' inventory

Qualifications:

Are you a MATCH?

• Must possess valid Class A CDL with hazardous material and air brakes endorsements.
• Prior experience in the gas, welding, and safety supply industry preferred.
• Intermediate PC knowledge to include familiarity with Microsoft Office platform and onboard computers/telematics preferred. Ability to read and comprehend material datasheets.
• Excellent customer service skills. Ability to clearly and effectively speak to customers and employees as well as legibly write.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Must have high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform math functions and analysis as needed by the position.
• Ability to participate and maintain customers' safety credentials to be able to enter the assigned sites.
• Ability to lift to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment (forklift/carts)

Plans and organizes case cart according to surgery schedule. Acts as a liaison between Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing.
Work Schedule:
Full Time Evenings

Responsibilities:
Pulls instruments and supplies from the preference cards for surgical cases.

Coordinates supply needs with the OR and Sterile Processing Department.

Restocks supplies returned from the OR.

Tracks instrumentation and case carts via computer system.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

The pay range for this position is:
$19.67 - $25.57 / hour.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
