The TRIO Support Specialist provides direct support services to students participating in the federally funded TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program. This role focuses on helping first-generation, low-income students, and students with disabilities overcome academic and personal barriers to success. The Specialist delivers personalized advising and coaching, coordinates resources, and assists with grant program activities such as case management, workshops and the development of individualized student success plan to promote persistence, graduation, and transfer.
