JOB GOAL: To partner with school staff and others to enhance team building, conflict resolution, decision making, time management, safe school environment and facilitation of alternative thinking strategies and behaviors

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:

  • At least 48 college semester hours or High School Diploma or GED and passing score on the Praxis ParaPro Assessment

Job Description

Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Servicing Manager, the Servicing Support Clerk will assist with performing general functions in addition to completing administrative and clerical procedures. Responsibilities will include but not limited to handling inbound and outbound calls, data entry, facilitation of electronic and manual correspondence and faxes. This position may work with dealerships, external, and internal customers to obtain and verify information. Other duties may apply as requested by management.

Job Duties
Respond to fax and email requests and inquiries within service levels. Receive and respond to fax and email, internal documents, and/or external documents; examine documents for completeness, accuracy and conformity to specified requirements.
Process and handle manual documentation and/or correspondence effectively.
Perform research, documentation, review and/or reconciliation of various departmental functions.
Provide quality, professional customer service to all inbound and outbound calls with internal and external customers and document activity accurately.
Collaborate and assist other departments across the organization, as needed. Cross-train in all areas of team.
Sort and distribute departmental mail and interoffice correspondence in a timely manner.
Identify and report any issues to management promptly.
Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of Exeter's policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal laws.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience performing general office duties within auto finance industry is desired.
General knowledge of collections policies and procedures and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
Excellent data entry, typing and ten-key skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
