Die Cast Technical Specialist wanted in Battle Creek, Michigan to promote and practice "safety first" by immediately addressing any hazards, defective equipment, or unsafe conditions within the engineering department and production work areas. Provide technical support for High Pressure Die Casting Machines and troubleshoot Hydraulic, Mechanic, Electric, and Electronic issues related to high-pressure die casting machines and trim presses. Support the creation and execution of Preventive Maintenance plans and participate in capex decisions. Train maintenance team on best practices to troubleshoot and maintain casting and trimming machines, as well as train production team on predictive maintenance best practices. Audit and support the restoration of equipment safety devices, establish and follow-up project implementation, including timing, concept, feasibility, engineering and design, specifications, construction, and commissioning as required. Provide support in troubleshooting, repairing and making system improvements (optimization), to ensure quality and efficiencies within the department. Identify the root cause of equipment failures and follow-up on the feasibility of modifications. Analyze, record, chart, and maintain all documentation for maintenance records, projects, and departments, including generating work orders and updates to CMS inventory system. Review and assist with the preparation of drawings and materials specifications for requisitions required by vendors or other departments when a cross-functional team is required. Review controls drawings and design concepts, deal with various vendors (Supplier and Equipment), participate in cross-functional training (multi-skilling) activities related to other trades within the organization; utilize technical skills, tools and platforms to ensure efficient operation and continuous enhancement of casting machines for automotive structural components and perform other duties as required. Requires 36 months of related experience as a Die Cast Manager. Role:
Regular part-time (24 hour per week) peer support specialist will assist consumers with substance use challenges on their recovery journeys. Many consumers will also have co-occurring mental health needs. Peer Support Specialists are embedded in local emergency room to assess and engage people with substance use needs. Peer Support Specialist utilizes evidence-based practices in Project Assert and SBIRT to determine substance use needs and motivate engagement in the recovery process. Peer Support Specialists share their own recovery experience and help people to consider options for their personal recovery planning. Peer Support Specialists link to local resources including Engagement Center, substance use treatment providers, medical care, community resources, etc. Peer support specialists may also help with mental health service engagement. PRT is currently recruiting for a full time
Crop Support Specialist
to join the PRT's Crop Support Team at any of the PRT Nursery locations. The PRT's Crop Support Team helps Growers, at each nursery, to plan and execute high-quality, reliable crops. The team creates and publishes Grower training materials and document Standard Operating Procedures for growing trees. By working with sites on a 1:1 basis the team helps to minimize risk to crops, respond to crop problems, develop new Growers, and support other gaps in knowledge and experience. The Crop Support Team assists nurseries that are undertaking innovative crop production trials and serves as a bridge between sites to ensure that learnings are shared between nursery locations. Each Crop Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the specific needs of the PRT sites, in their portfolio, through in-person visits, crop walks, and virtual meetings and calls. The Crop Support Team meets monthly to coordinate the team's approach across all sites. Each specialist meets with the Director of Crop Production on a regular, individual, basis to provide updates on crop progress across the sites they support, workshop individual projects, and focus on professional development according to PRT's Leadership Competencies. A portion of work time will be spent outdoors and in greenhouse environments with exposure to varying temperatures, machinery, equipment, and pesticides during work. The remaining portion of work time is spent indoors in an office environment. Regular travel to PRT nurseries is required.
Key accountabilities of the

Develop training materials, guides and Standard Operating Procedures for use across PRT sites.
Contribute to the development of PRT's overall approach to Crop Support
Support PRT Growers and Production Managers via 1:1 coaching and mentorship

BARGAINING UNIT / LEVEL: Non-Supervisory Bargaining Unit - Level 04/06 SALARY RANGE: $53,102 - $71,947 annually DOQ GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Park Operations Manager the position responsibility involves assisting with park operations, which include accounting, payroll, park revenues, and assisting in the preparation of the park budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs clerical and administrative work in answering phones, receiving the public and providing general assistance in support of park operations.
Composes, types, and edits a variety of correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material requiring judgment as to content, accuracy and completeness.
Maintains inventories and orders supplies, materials and equipment in accordance with Metroparks purchasing policies.
Communicates park policies, plans and procedures to employees and general public.
Assists park management with enforcement of Metroparks policies/procedures and ensures any required paperwork is completed, accurate and timely.
Acts as custodian of sensitive Metroparks documents and personnel records. Establishes and maintains filing systems.
Serves as the liaison between park employees/management and Human Resources and/or Finance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Park Support Specialist / Level 04:
Associate Degree in related field, Bachelors preferred. Applicants with 4 or more years of related service will be given credit toward meeting the minimum educational requirements and will be considered for the position.
Knowledge of accounting principles, budget controls, auditing, cash controls and professional standards and ethics.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, filing and record management systems.
Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
Ability to communicate using telephone and radio equipment.
