Location

Summary of Position
This position is responsible for providing the specialized product and application knowledge and support to the frontline sales and business development teams and customers with regard to surface treatment (such as Iron and Mn Phosphates, Zirconium based conversion coatings, anodizing, as well as cleaners, sealers and other ancillary products), and remanufacturing used in the industrial environment. The person must be able to work independently and within a team, have excellent organizational skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. This is a customer facing position.
What you will do
* Provide very specialized knowledge of specific process and application expertise at the customer site
* Provide technical support to the sales force, handle technical product application-related problems escalated from the field, and work closely with sales/Key Account management teams.
* Develop and implement guidelines regarding equipment and test methods consistent with best practices.
* Recommend and facilitate improvement initiatives and total cost of ownership projects.
* Generate reports and technical audits/surveys of product application and customer process related items as required.
* Comply with all Company Policies: to include but not limited to Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.
* Ownership of individual development plan (IDP) as agreed upon with direct line manager.
* Participate in new product trials and and customer lined surveys to create case studies.

This is a
Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications
Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel
