Amazon is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network. The position's responsibilities include scaling support of several data center locations and day to day assistance with capacity management. You will work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers. You will leverage your experience supporting large scale, enterprise class networks as well as network implementation and troubleshooting. As a Network Deploy Technician, you will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment with regular peer and customer interaction. In addition to providing management and support of AWS' vast network infrastructure, Network Deploy Technicians establish and follow best practices and refine operational procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. Administer all aspects of payroll utilizing the payroll system, which includes calculations and data entry. Review, prepare, analyze, and reconcile all monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports including and not limited to: IRS, Oregon Frances System, SAIF, various benefit plans, annual W-2's, and monthly/year end reconciliations. Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts on a routine basis. Assist in the preparation of the annual audit. Maintain and update agency budget personnel spread sheets. Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of Fiscal Policies. Assist in the development of the agency's annual budget. Perform other day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording various facets of the accounting system. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and minimum qualifications necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. Ability to perform complex numerical calculations. Working knowledge of office machines (i.e. calculator, copier, fax, etc.) Proficiency with computer and financial software (outlook, Microsoft suite, financial software). PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and/or experience specifically in payroll functions and reconciliations is not required but strongly preferred.
