Support specialist/trainer job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, development execution and assessment of training and exercises related to objectives of the DoDD 2060.02
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of individual augmentation readiness systems required to comply with theater specific training requirements.
• Accesses and reviews Joint Training System (JTS) doctrine, and its associated systems including the Universal Joint Task List Development Tool (UTDT), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS); and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).
• Monitor, and maintain personnel training requirements in the Learning Management System (LMS) and schedule and manage collective, classroom required training and CBRNE training.
• Assist in maintaining the individual deployment readiness data within the DTRA Readiness Tracking System and manage the ISOPREP program using the Personal Recovery Mission Software (PRMS) for all USSOCOM J10 – (NCR) personnel.
• Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.
• Exercise expertise support includes supporting all tasks required to plan, develop, execute and assess activities called for within the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for an exercise.

• Build, sustain, and improve collaborative working relationships with internal and external DoD/IA stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience supporting doctrine development utilizing the Joint Training System (JTS), Universal Joint Task List Development Tool (UTDT), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS); and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).
• 6 years CWMD planning experience in a DoD Joint organization –OR– 6 years CWMD planning in Inter-Agency equivalent (CIA, FBI, DoS, DHS) (within the last 10 years)
• High degree of organizational accumen.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional business relationships with external agency partners.
• TS/SCI

Essential duties include, but are not limited to, provision of assistance, training, and support necessary for individual to complete personal care, health maintenance, and independent living skills in their own home, natural (family) home or nursing facility. Other duties include supervision of individuals, implementation of training and behavioral programs, data collection, and assessments, completion of all required documentation and reports, compliance with all applicable standards, rules, and policies, transportation of individuals. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible/accountable for the adherence to and promotion of compliance policy. Hours will vary to meet the needs of the individuals served and may include weekends and hours before 8AM or after 5PM. A current Texas Driver’s License in good standing is required. Duties and/or locations may change in accordance with changes in programmatic needs. This position is a PRN position and the maximum hours per week are 29 hours to 120 hours per month.

Job Related Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Training provided to employees once hired.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15-45 lbs.) pushing, stooping, light carrying (15lbs.) repeated bending, reaching above the shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting, and twisting.
• Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.

PRIMARY FUNCTION of the Organization:
Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a DMO Cross Domain SME to provide functional onsite support to include establishment of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) standards, generation of requirements for Cross Domain Solutions for CAF DMO and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training programs, development of capability requirements for Fighters, Bombers, and C2ISR DMO and LVC platforms, integration of F-16, F-15, and Fifth Generation aircraft into Mission Training Centers (MTC), collaboration and interfaces with other MAJCOMs, Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Joint Services and Coalition training partners, and System Program Offices (SPO) for management of simulator/DMO and the Operations & Integration (O&I) programs, collaboration and interfaces with Functional Area Managers (FAM) in the development of Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) tasking and MTC/DMO requirements, Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), various acquisition activities, logistics and procurement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in developing, refining, and producing life cycle management plans in support of integrating DMO systems with the Mission Training Centers (MTCs). Maintain in-depth knowledge of M&S, DMO, and LVC concepts to provide technical and analytical assistance in the development, validation, and coordination of DMO capability requirements documents and assist integration of CAF DMO capability requirement into weapon system MTC programs. Assist in collaboration and interface with Functional Area Managers to develop weapon system training device requirements, resolution of training issues and shortfalls, and provide recommendations and guidance for simulator enhancements to support RAP training and POM submissions.
