Responsibilities:
Perform every task with consideration and care for the complete individual with a goal of every client living a healthy and meaningful life.
Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.
Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands.
Care for individuals or families during periods of incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
Perform health care-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses or physiotherapists.
Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shopping for, or preparing nutritious meals.
Transport clients to locations outside the home, such as to physicians' offices or on outings, using a motor vehicle.
Instruct or advise clients on issues such as household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene, nutrition, or infant care.
Prepare and maintain records of your clients' progress, services performed and changes in condition.
Meet weekly reporting compliance on clients' goals and health and well-being.
Additional Duties: This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities and/or duties required; other duties may be assigned.
Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to move/reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person and/or adaptive equipment.
Maintain current CPR certification.
Maintain current clean background check.
Continued Education: completion of state-mandated DODD 8-hour annual training and re-certification.
