Develop and execute investigative stories from pitch through publication
Identify story angles, pursue leads, and conduct original reporting through interviews, records requests, document review, and data analysis
Produce clear, accurate investigative articles for a broad audience
Research and corroborate information using multiple independent sources
Build and maintain on-the-record and confidential sources in accordance with ethical standards
Maintain organized reporting files and documentation for editorial and legal review
Work with editors and legal counsel to address legal, ethical, and reputational risk
Collaborate with newsroom partners to develop investigative ideas and support reporting initiatives
Experience & Requirments
Background in journalism, investigative reporting, communications, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in investigative or enterprise reporting
Strong research, interviewing, and source-development skills
Ability to analyze complex documents, data, and public records
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy
Sound editorial judgment and ethical decision-making
Ability to manage long-term projects and meet demanding deadlines

Travels as needed with members of the Production team for remote shows and segments
Experience & Requirements
2+ years of similar work experience in a professional production environment preferred
Previous experience and proven track record in video and podcast production
Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to appropriately take initiative
Working knowledge of the current political landscape
Avid follower of news, politics, and cultural commentary across all media platforms
Resourceful with a high sense of urgency
Familiar with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects
