The Radiologic Technologist Supervisor, under supervision of the Radiology Director, arranges patients for radiological examinations, produces radiographs (X-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems, and prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. These techniques require the safe operation of C-Arm image intensifier equipment, O-Arm image intensifier equipment, and both department and portable X-ray equipment. Knowledge of patient positions, radiation safety, and employee protection is required.
The Supervisor projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients, coworkers, and facility information and adhering to the HIPAA policy. He/she reports, in good faith, any known or suspected activity that appears to violate laws, rules, regulations or the SP Code of Conduct and fulfills annual licensure and continuing education requirements.
Personal attributes include the ability to be self-directed; demonstration of accountability, professionalism, and receptiveness to change; willingness to seek guidance, direction, and assistance when needed. Patient Population:
The patient population served by South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital ranges from a minimum of 12 years and/or of adult stature to geriatric patients requiring or seeking pain and/or surgical intervention. In addition, our hospital outpatient department patient population served by South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital serves a population aged a minimum of 6 months up to geriatric patients.
Physical Requirements:
May be expected to lift up to 10 pounds or up to 50 pounds with assistance. Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity are essential to performing designated duties required. Optimal auditory acuity required. Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipment, moving and lifting patients is essential to performing assigned duties. Physical conditions are clean, neat, and well lit. May be subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations, hazardous or infectious agents where judgment as to precautions needed to be taken is essential. Qualifications:
Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
Graduation from a school of Radiologic Technology, either college-affiliated or hospital-trained.
Certified under the Texas Medical Board, transitioned from the Texas Department of State Health Services to practice and administer radiation.
Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
Membership of American Society of Radiologic Technologists (A.S.R.T.) is preferred, but not mandatory.
Basic Life Support (BLS) prerequisite.
1 year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
Ability to relate and work effectively with others.

Job Description
The Specialty Account Manager is responsible for selling and promoting specialty pharmacy services to physicians, hospitals, clinic and other healthcare providers; establish a strong network between Axium Healthcare Pharmacy and various pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives, and other health care providers. The role of the PSC is to represent Axium Healthcare Pharmacy in the healthcare industry by marketing and selling specialty pharmacy services based on the needs of prospective clients.
This position requires 100% outside sales calls.
This position will be covering the majority of the State of Texas, excluding the Houston Market.
The ideal candidate will have several years calling on Oncology Hematology accounts in this market with extensive relationships within these types of practices.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Calling on medical offices, hospitals, clinics and other referral sources in an effort to develop and secure specialty pharmacy prescriptions and contracts.
Ability to manage a designated territory and manage workflow to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly objectives.
Consistently
make 40 outside sales calls weekly; and accurate and timely documentation of
call activity into CRM; Possible overnight travel
Minimum of 2 weekly sales calls with associated core therapy manufacturer
representatives and CRM documentation of call activity.
Identify target and promote strong relationships with key physicians and other decision
makers in the Specialty Markets
Achieve monthly revenue and referral goals; submit all required reports to management
in a timely manner
Bi-monthly submission of associated field expenses into Nexonia
Promote and represent Axium Healthcare in a professional manner at all times
Utilization of proprietary software
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Education/Training:
BA or BS preferred
Education and/or Experience:
2 years sales experience, medical background, college degree preferred. Proficient
computer literacy required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
· Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
· Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
· Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support the needs of our wellness plan clients.
· Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. This includes encouraging hospital visits, welcoming clients and pets, ensuring that they are comfortable in the hospital, and educating them about their pet's health.
· Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services

· Assist outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian's instructions, selling retail products and scheduling future appointments.
· Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
· Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
· Ability to be confident around pets (i.e., dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.)
· Client needs and work volume may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job. This position requires special hours including working weekends and evenings.
· Associate is routinely exposed to a variety of pets that may bite or scratch, and on occasion, exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards and medication/controlled substances.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
· One year related experience required with customer service preferred.

The Pharmacy Technician must have a complete understanding and appreciation for the use and side effects of prescription and nonprescription drugs used to treat common disease states. The most important characteristic of these Pharmacy Technician duties is the need for absolute accuracy and precision in both the technical and clerical aspects of the job to ensure patient health and safety. QUALITY
* Maintains a clean pharmacy area. Files papers, records, and reports.
* Performs monthly nursing unit inspections to include the pharmacy, all nursing units, crash carts, fluids room, various boxes in the ER and OR, anesthesia workroom and various remote location stock within the hospital.
* Assists the pharmacist in monitoring patient drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
* Under the direction of a Pharmacist, perform pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures, which provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
* Control and audit narcotics/stock substance. Reconcile narcotics usage reports as needed.
* Check and remove outdated medications on a routine basis to ensure that no deteriorated meds are in stock. Keep appropriate records.
* Assist Pharmacist in gathering data for various quality improvement projects.
FINANCE
* Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels, order drugs from wholesale distributor in a timely manner and constant monitoring of drug costs.
* Responsible for timely processing of pharmacy charges for patient billing.
* Maintain and order all office supplies for the pharmacy paying close attention to cost issues.
* Liaison between pharmacy and business office personnel with regard to any issues and/or concerns with pharmacy charges that pertain to patient billing.
GROWTH
