Ernie Sadau is responsible for day-to-day operations of CHRISTUS Health and lends extensive expertise in developing programs to improve quality and clinical integration and preparing the organization to capitalize on the opportunities of the future. Ernie joined CHRISTUS as Senior Vice President of Patient and Resident Care Operations in 2006. His title was changed to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008 as he expanded his role and oversight within the organization. Ernie also served as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for CHRISTUS Health, developing the strategic initiatives and processes to ensure that CHRISTUS is living out its commitment to valuing differences and strengthening the ministry's culture of inclusion. Before joining CHRISTUS, Ernie served in many roles at Adventist Health System from 1983-2006, holding various executive positions in the organization's many hospitals and systems, including Chief Financial Officer, Administrator, and President and CEO of Adventist Health System/Midwest in Hinsdale, Ill., which includes five hospitals, over 60 physician practices, surgery and imaging centers and several home care agencies. During his tenure with Adventist, Ernie led successful hospital acquisitions and joint ventures; implemented thriving physician recruiting, community relations and employee development programs and developed many necessary medical services in the communities he served, including opening the only freestanding Emergency Room in Illinois and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ernie holds a master's degree in Hospital Administration from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas. Ernie is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives, and was named an Up & Comer by Modern Healthcare magazine in 2000, an award that honors rising young stars in the health care management field.

Gary S. Kaplan, MD, FACP, FACMPE, FACPE, has served as chairman and CEO of the Virginia Mason Health System in Seattle since 2000. He is also a practicing internal medicine physician at Virginia Mason. Dr. Kaplan received a degree in medicine from the University of Michigan and is board certified in internal medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Virginia Mason and served as chief resident in 1980 and 1981. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) and the American College of Physician Executives (FACPE). He is recognized as one of the most influential physician executives in health care. Dr. Kaplan has served as chair of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Board of Directors, and is currently chair of the IHI Lucian Leape Institute. He was a founding member of Health CEOs for Health Reform and has held leadership positions with numerous organizations, including the Medical Group Management Association and the Washington Healthcare Forum.

J Jones is a Chief Executive Officer at Inova Health System, Editor-in-Chief of American Urological Associaton Journal Urology Practice at American Urological Association, and Board Member at American Medical Group Association (AMGA) and is based in Charlottesville, Virginia Area. He has worked as Vice Chair:Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute at Cleveland Clinic; Chief:Surgical Operations at Cleveland Clinic; and Chairman, Department of Urological Surgery Springfield Clinic at Mercy Health. J. studied at Conway High School; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine between 1982 and 1986; and University of Arkansas between 1978 and 1982.

Jared Stark is a Regional Vice President at Intuitive Health and CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER at University Hospital & Clinics and is based in Lafayette, Louisiana. He has worked as Progressively responsible leadership positions at Franciscan St Francis Health; Senior Vice President, Healthcare at DUKE REALTY CORP; and Chief Executive Officer, University Hospital and Clinics at Lafayette General Health.
