    General Summary: A nonexempt position that works under the direction of the Director of Business Development and COO to help promote and participate in ongoing organizational improvement initiatives by organizing marketing opportunities as well as building and strengthening community partnerships and referral bases. Essential Job Responsibilities: Responsible for contacting and visiting referring providers to promote the organization and its providers. Develops and maintains strong relationships with referring hospitals and providers. Submit ideas for marketing ideas geared toward enhancing and growing the organization and its reputation. Support executives and providers in organizing various projects. Conduct market research that gathers consumer rating reports/opinions through social medial, internet search/informational sites, survey companies. Assist in the organizing of promotional events and campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success. Prepare promotional presentations. Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts. Assist in the development and implementation of short and long-range. Works closely with the Director of Business Development and COO to help ensure the annual quality and business goals are reached. Creates monthly calendars for the clinic. Protects corporate operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains professionalism while working with patients, insurance carriers, customers, and employees. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. Ensures compliance with HIPPA, patient privacy and all other applicable regulations and laws while interacting with patients and staff. Perform such other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational objectives. Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred. Work related experience will be taken into consideration with a lower level degree. Experience: Business development management within medical practice management, preferred. Performance Requirements: Knowledge: Knowledge of physician office practice, specific knowledge in orthopaedics preferred. Knowledge of ancillary services, specific knowledge of MRI and PT preferred. Knowledge of how to operate a computer, phone, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Skills: Skill in basic computer knowledge. Skilled in advanced data entry including grafts and charts.     Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma has an immediate opening for a full-time Hospital Collector. This position ensures medical/hospital collections are completed with highest quality and integrity and that all work is in full compliance with client contractual agreements. All applicants must have knowledge of medical billing, precertification procedures, hospital collection and denials from insurance companies. Strong knowledge of facility billing/collections procedures is required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent working knowledge of insurance carriers' payment regulations including reimbursement, coinsurance, deductibles and contractual adjustments Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and Commercial Insurances Must be able to read and interpret EOBs and fee schedule contracts Complete familiarity and understanding of claims, billing codes, and hospital collections Knowledge of how to submit appeals, reconsideration requests, corrected claims and mail claims to secondary insurances Understanding of modifier usage and bill types Review adjudicated claims for timely filling and proper payment to ensure maximum payment is received Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance as related to job performance Strong interpersonal and communications skills Able to work successfully in a team-oriented environment Strong written and oral communications skills High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Able to perform tasks in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs required to complete responsibilities Able to work within/learn other software as required Precertification knowledge/experience This is a remote position based in the OKC metro area All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
