The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Emory University Department of Pediatrics invites interested applicants for a fellowship position in the Pediatric Cancer Survivor Program. The goal of the Aflac Survivor Fellowship is to train physicians in survivor care and long-term follow-up after the completion of cancer therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Graduates of the Aflac Survivor Fellowship will be positioned to develop and lead survivor programs within pediatric oncology centers. The fellowship will comprise clinical rotations (70%) and survivorship research (30%), which can be tailored based on fellows's interests.

About the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center
The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center has a well-established survivorship team. The successful candidate will join one of the country's most robust pediatric cancer outcomes programs.
Established in 2001, our survivor program follows over 1,700 pediatric and adolescent cancer survivors and comprises a multi-disciplinary team including oncologists, endocrinologists, psychologists, advanced practice providers, cancer geneticists, nursing, and social work.
Our oncology program cared for more than 500 new cancer cases last year.
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta-the only tertiary pediatric center in the dynamic metropolitan Atlanta area-serves a population of nearly 9 million people, providing a diverse patient population.
Requirements: Applicants must have completed their residency training in pediatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine and shown a track record of working in and doing research in pediatric cancer survivorship. Applicants must be eligible for a Georgia Medical License. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a pediatric or adult hematology/oncology fellowship. This pathologist role will be responsible for the examination, diagnosis, and reporting of surgical pathology specimens obtained from surgical center procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities
Typical patient volume - 1500 cases read remotely
Specimen analysis:
Perform comprehensive gross and microscopic examination of surgical tissue and cytology specimens.

Pathology reporting:
Generate accurate, complete, and timely pathology reports detailing diagnostic findings.
Manage and log all case data meticulously in the patient's record using the laboratory's information system.
Professional development:

Required qualifications and skills
Education and certification:

* Prepare for the procedure or surgery by participating in the performance of the safety check/universal protocol determining the specific equipment needed, reviewing permits to confirm procedures and special needs, assisting in moving and positioning the patient, selecting x-rays for reference, inserting and removing Foley urinary bladder catheter, and draping the patient.
* Support the Surgeon during the procedure or surgery by retracting tissue and organs, maintaining hemostasis by direct pressure, use of appropriate instrumentation, placing ties or ligatures, applying chemical hemostatic agents, using electrocautery mono and bi-polar, clamping and ligating and cutting tissue.
* Maintain integrity of the sterile field, closing all wound layers, inserting drainage tubes, applying wound dressing and assisting with resuscitation or any other events in the OR.
* Perform any other duties or procedures incident to the surgical procedure deemed necessary and directed and supervised by the surgeon.

**Surgical Pathologist Cleveland Clinic** The Division of Anatomic Pathology at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic General AP or AP/CP (or eligible) surgical pathologist to join our practice. This pathology position is available at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, which became a full member of the Cleveland Clinic health system on February 2, 2021. Mercy Hospital is a 476-bed hospital in Canton, OH with outpatient locations in Alliance, Carroll County, Jackson Township, Lake Township, Louisville, Massillon, North Canton, Plain Township and Tuscarawas County.
Requirements: Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology. Fellowship training in cytopathology is required. While prior experience in practice is desirable, we welcome applications from new graduates of established training programs.
The pathologist will be a member of the Cleveland Clinic professional staff will have a joint appointment with Cleveland Clinic's Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Institute (PLMI) at the Main Campus. This position reports to the leadership at the PLMI at the Main Campus. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Our main campus operates under a complete subspecialty sign-out system, providing an exceptional environment for collaboration and professional growth.

Premier Health Oncology and Premier Clinical Neuroscience Institute in partnership with and Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) seeking a BC/BE neurology oncologist with to join a growing, established oncology team.
We would anticipate the candidate would hold BE/BC in Neuro-oncology or be planning on obtaining this accreditation soon. Seeking Neurologist to care for Neuro-Oncology patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors to help develop a network-wide program in neuro-oncology. Immediate opportunity to contribute to and develop system wide initiatives including the Neuro-Oncology clinical pathways and treatment protocols, Neuro-Oncology system wide tumor board, and Neuro-oncology system wide clinical trials.
Will work with neurosurgeons, neuropathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists across multiple locations.
Opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and advance practice providers.
