Job DescriptionDescription: Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a licensed or Registered Nurse. Assists in the Operating Rooms, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses or other surgical personnel. Set-up of the operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, adjust lights and equipment, pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon's assistants, hold retractors, cut sutures, assist with supplies and instrumentation cleaning.
