Job Duties/Responsibilities: The main purpose of the Surgical Technician is to provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance, the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates standards of nursing practice and the Surgical Technologist role expectations. The role of the Surgical Technologist is to assist the surgical provider and circulating nurse through preparation and assistance with surgical procedures.
