Operating Room Scrub Technician Allied Health SPECIALTY UNIT: Operating Room Scrub Technician SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p - 4/10 hr shifts JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Job Description: Work in collaboration with the surgical team to provide care to the patient during a surgical/invasive procedure. Assist with coordination or supplies, instrumentation and equipment for the surgical procedure. Performs scrub duties for various surgical procedures/specialties following established department/hospital policies and procedures. Must be able to take call in compliance with hospital/department policy. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior. Responsibilities: Effectively uses laboratory equipment. Performs and reports testing on patient specimens and OC specimens rapidly and without delay. Demonstrates competence in performing testing procedures.
