Job Summary:
Pivot Onsite Innovations is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at our worksite clinic as an Occupational Health Technician. This unique opportunity will encourage EMTs to pivot into the non-traditional setting, and flourish within the quickly growing occupational arena. EMTs will operate under the title Occupational Health Technician and be responsible for patient education, administering first-aid support, performing pre and post-employment screenings, and other additional duties needed to improve the patient's overall health and wellness. As a patient advocate, the EMT will verify worksite patients are receiving the best possible care, ensuring they are well enough to be at work and well enough to enjoy their lives outside of work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer basic first aid and medical support as the first responder of work-related injuries
Collaborate with onsite team while building relationships with frontline employees, coordinating projects with managers, and communicating with outside medical professionals to ensure a high level of medical care
Reduce the number of injuries, severity of injuries, and time spent away from work for the industrial team by promoting wellness activities and education
Impacting lives through patient education
Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician
Have a current and valid state EMT licensure
Have prior EMT experience in an event setting (Preferred)

Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports high-acuity cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases in a Level I Trauma environment.
Shift times vary between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM depending on daily OR needs. Call is required, and schedules will be adjusted to meet operational demands. Candidates must be highly experienced, flexible, and able to function independently in a fast-paced CVOR setting.
Key Responsibilities
Scrub for complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, aortic repairs, and VAD procedures.
Assist surgeons during high-acuity vascular and thoracic cases, maintaining strict aseptic technique at all times.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized CVOR equipment including cell savers, fiber-optic systems, drills, scopes, and electrosurgical units.
Prepare instrumentation, case carts, and sterile fields for cardiac, vascular, and general OR procedures.
Handle and pass instruments safely while anticipating surgeon needs throughout procedures.
Assist in reprocessing and care of cardiovascular/thoracic instruments and scopes.
Manage documentation in Epic and ensure proper equipment, specimen, and implant tracking.
Collaborate with OR nurses, anesthesia, perfusionists, and surgical teams to support efficient, safe patient care.
Maintain readiness for emergent cases including trauma, cardiac emergencies, and crash-cart responses.
Complete 80 hours of required orientation and meet all compliance timelines including urgent fingerprinting requirements.
Qualifications
Active CST certification (required).
Minimum 5+ years total CST experience (required).
Minimum 2+ years in cardiac and vascular cases (required).
Minimum 1 year CVOR experience (required).
Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility (required).
Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument care and reprocessing (required).
BLS certification (required).
Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and advanced CVOR workflows.
Proficiency in Epic charting (required).
Must be flexible with schedule between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM, including call rotation.
RTO must be submitted at time of submission; limited RTO allowed.
Fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing (strict Ohio requirement).
Two professional references required (one must be leadership).

Required Experiences and Competencies
* Must be local to Atlanta, Georgia.
* Previous Operating Room (O.R.) experience required.
* Certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or Certified First Assistant (CFA) through a recognized certifying body (e.g., National Surgical Assistant Association or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) required.
