I went to Hurricane Ida, then I went down to Louisiana. I was down there for about three weeks. It was really amazing seeing the way the community was able to help each other out, and just seeing how many people were willing to drop what they were doing at home and go down there and help out. Back in January of '22, I was able to go up to New York City and work in New York City. That was a great experience. I was able to get a lot more experience as a EMT at the time, now that I'm an AEMT, as it gave me more knowledge that way I would know what to do. There's also ways that they can send you to school and learn to be an AEMT, to be a paramedic, and beyond. You can be a flight medic. I mean, the possibilities for work are endless with AMR.
