Maintains correct account of sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse and reports correctness and discrepancies according to Operating Room policy and procedures. Disposes of sharps from sterile field per Operating Room policy and procedures. Prepares all specimens and cultures appropriately for laboratory analysis.
