Maintains physician preference cards as up to date. Accurately and promptly completes unusual occurrence reporting when necessary. Participates in the evaluation of new supplies and equipment and instrumentation. Accepts and understands the role of the CST in emergency situations. Summit's hiring range for this position is $32.60 to $40.75 per hour. Under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse and Nurse Manager, the Nursing Assistant/Surgical Care Assistant helps prepare patients for surgery and assists them after surgery.
