Provide discharge instructions.
Make follow up phone calls to patients.
Take X-Rays / scans.
Enter EMR notes for various appointments and procedures.
Properly closing and opening the office each day (Tanks, Suction, Xray)
Back-up co-workers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Assistant program.
2 to 6 plus years of experience in Surgical or Dental Assisting.
Certification as a Surgical Assistant.
Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.
Great organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
Consistent professionalism in appearance and attitude.
Schedule:
Monday: Start between 6:00 and 7:00am, finishing by 3:30pm
Wednesday: Start as early as 6:00am and finish no later than 5:00pm
Friday: Start between 6:00 and 7:00am, finishing by 3:30pm, no later than 4:00pm
8 to 12 weeks with potential to go fulltime
Up to 36 Hours
Special Requirements:
Working on-site is essential to the function of this position.
Must be able to stand up to 80% of the time at minimum.
Physical requirements include sitting, stooping, turning, standing, bending, walking, hearing, reading, writing, and keyboarding, may lift up to 25 lbs.
