The Surgical Tech/LPN Scrub is an integral part of the surgical team and the patients' surgical experience. Scrub on all types of surgical procedures assigned. 2. Assist in setting up operating room for surgical procedures, including initial wiping down of surfaces. 3. Clean and restock operating rooms after operative procedure. 6. Assemble special trays, instruments, etc. and wrap for processing. 7. Complete special assignments as indicated and necessary for the smooth functioning of ASC. 8. Assume responsibility for personal growth and development by participating in continuing education programs/mandatory in-services and by initiating and giving an in-service as necessary. 9. Adhere to ASC Policies & Procedures. 10. Assist in various departments of the ASC under supervision as necessary. 11. Works late as assigned in advance. 12. Flexes schedule to fulfill needs of the ASC. 13. Uses good work safety habits (including PPE). 14. Performs other duties as necessary to ensure smooth running of ASC. EDUCATION: High school education, or equivalent. Minimum of two year's pertinent experience. Surgical Technologist Certification or LPN license and registration.
