Create sensible routes for every delivery technician that will meet certain window blocks and/or expectations from customers or referral sources, while operating within the budget.
Address and develop the best process to handle incomplete orders. Communicate this message to all applicable parties.
Make outbound calls to customers and patient service technicians for scheduling and routing with a focus on extraordinary customer care
Partner with teams who enter tickets to deliver extraordinary customer care, communicate any issues, verify delivery details, and create solutions for issues
Verify delivery/pick up details and communicate that information to patient service technicians and couriers.
Achieves or shows progression toward positively impacting regional goals that could include productivity goals, decreasing cost per delivery, and decreasing mileage per route by routing in an efficient manner.
Tracks all orders and confirms that orders are delivered daily or follows up and track for appropriate time frames including checking log line.
Ensures confidentiality of patient care information/documentation.
Documents patient communication regarding deliveries achieving 98% compliance or shows steady progression towards meeting.
Become familiar with all personal safety and infection control practices and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
Before an operation, surgical technologists help prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patient during pre-operation procedures.
Performs pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body and medical equipment.
Assemble both sterile and non-sterile equipment, as well as adjust and check it to ensure it is working properly.
Get patients ready for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites.
Transport patients to the operating room, help position them on the operating table, and cover them with sterile surgical “drapes.”

Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants.
Hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments. Help prepare, care for, and dispose of specimens taken for laboratory analysis and help apply dressings.
Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and help operate diagnostic equipment.
After an operation, help transfer patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary/Objective
The Surgical First Assistant provides advanced intraoperative support to the plastic surgeon and surgical team, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality care throughout cosmetic surgical procedures. Pre-Operative Duties

Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, sterile draping, and verifying implants/devices as required.
Prepare and confirm the availability, functionality, and sterility of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Participate in surgical time-outs and pre-op safety checks.
Intra-Operative Duties
Serve as the first assistant to the surgeon during elective cosmetic procedures including body contouring, breast procedures, facial aesthetic surgery, and other plastic surgery cases.
Provide exposure and visualization of the operative field through retraction, suctioning, irrigation, and tissue handling.
Assist with hemostasis using cautery, ligation, clamping, and other techniques.
Assist with dissection, suturing, closure of incision layers, and application of dressings as directed by the surgeon.
Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient surgical workflow.
Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards.
Post-Operative Duties
Assist with the application of dressings, compression garments, and wound care as appropriate.
Ensure accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and needles at case completion.
Assist with patient transfer to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and provide handoff communication.
Support post-operative documentation and debriefs.
Team & Operational Support
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, CRNAs, circulating nurses, and surgical technologists to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with maintaining, organizing, and restocking surgical instruments and supplies.
