Job Description
The DOT Coordinator is responsible to work with employees to ensure they are in compliance with all Federal and Company regulations. They must effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Responsible for helping manage internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
Oversees DOT obligations, to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Provide answers to employee questions about company policies, procedures and standards and escalate to Compliance management or other functional areas as needed.
Maintain filing system and ensure that regulatory and compliance reports and licenses are filed timely and correctly.
Ensure that appropriate control systems are in place and continually optimized to meet changing regulatory, industry standards.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.
Three to five years professional experience.
A minimum of three years of experience quality and/or compliance environment is preferred.
At least two years of DOT compliance experience.
Demonstrated documentation and technical writing experience, in a regulated compliance environment, is required.
Position may require travel.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal relationship skills are required.

This position works inside a climate-controlled environment a majority of the time. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
Traditional Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, unless operational requirements dictate otherwise.
Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
