Applbaum comes to Surterra from Bacardi Global Brands Limited where he served as the global CMO for Patrón Tequila and Grey Goose Vodka, the world's number one ultra-premium tequila and vodka brands. At Bacardi, he led two global integrated marketing organizations across more than 165 countries reporting to the global CEO. Applbaum also was CMO for Target Australia, and held leadership marketing roles at recognized retail and consumer goods companies, including RadioShack Corporation, Federated Department Stores, and Schlotsky's. Applbaum began his career at the Coca-Cola Company. In 2015, Applbaum received an Adweek Brand Genius award for groundbreaking digital and social media efforts, and in 2018 he was awarded the Business Insider "Most Innovative CMO" award. Applbaum received a BBA from The University of Texas Austin and his MBA from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Arnon Vered is a Chief Operating Officer at Surterra Wellness and Investor, management consultant at Vered Management Services and is based in Salem, Massachusetts. He has worked as Senior Business Manager at CAPITAL ONE FINANCIAL CORP, Business Development Professional at KESSLER GROUP INC, and Co-founder at NETA (New England Treatment Access LLC).

Barry Jones is a CFO at Surterra Wellness.

James has a decade of experience in corporate finance, M&A, and restructuring. As Chief Development and New Ventures Officer, James supports Beau Wrigley directly in all elements of business strategy and growth, and is responsible for driving key partnerships, sophisticated regulatory M&A, legal, real estate, new territory expansion, and overall capital allocation as we expand our brands globally. James is also a member of Parallel’s Board of Directors.

James joined Parallel as its first Chief Financial Officer in 2016, a role he held until 2019, and helped stand up Parallel’s first regulated businesses. He has played a pivotal role in establishing Parallel and raising $350 million in funding to date, and was a lead architect in multiple mergers and acquisitions and partnership deals that have fueled the company’s growth. Prior to Parallel, James worked in Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring groups at Perella Weinberg Partners, an investment bank in New York, where he executed over $22 billion in transactions across multiple industries. He began his career with Dory Ventures, a brand-focused family investment office, where he was a turnaround consultant for portfolio companies and spent extensive time in China on manufacturing assignments. James received his BA from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Columbia Business School.

As Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Jeremy Kunicki is responsible for strategic partnerships and transformational growth initiatives to drive corporate business development for Tivity Health. Kunicki has an extensive background in corporate finance, business transformation, and large-scale M&A integrations.

Kunicki has spent his career leading business transformations in the retail pharmacy industry and has significant experience driving strategic growth in the health and wellness space. Jeremy most recently was CFO for well-being company Parallel. Prior to that he was CFO at Walgreens, where he lead finance for the Walgreens division and global business transformation.

Kunicki earned a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
