Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Indiana Professional Land Surveyor License or Surveyor Intern (S.I.)
- 5 Years of experience working on INDOT Right of Way projects

Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyzes title work and record documents in conjunction with field survey data to establish property lines and existing rights of way.
- Production of client or project right of way engineering parcels.
- Supervises production of client or project right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats.
- Conducts QA/QC of right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats.
- Training and mentoring of staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6 years progressive experience on design projects with route survey and right of way engineering experience
- All jurisdictional certifications as required

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Site Surveys
- Identify potential build pathways and provide solutions for deployment.
- Take internal/external photos and appropriate notes required to complete the site survey document.

Post site survey
- Create preliminary build plans and budget, including construction requirements and bill of materials.
- Document the site survey with all required documents including photos and notes. Manage and drive the progress of each newbuilding through the review process.

Building Design
- Communicate the specific needs of each potential building to the parties involved to ensure proper information flow and successful completion of the project.

Vendor Management (Engineering and Construction)
- Obtain BID's documents from vendors with assistance from immediate Manager or higher-level PM.

- Create appropriate build history/documentation.
- Various tasks and special projects assigned by manager associated with the organization and company with the emphasis of driving efficiency and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to expert experience is required in the following areas: physical, data-link and network protocols and architectures; routers, firewalls and switches; system load balancing and redundant system architecture.
- Demonstrated understanding of physical network construction and installations.
- Understanding of fiber design and construction, both outside plant and inside plant.
- Understanding of microwave communications equipment; specifically point to point gigabit microwave links.
- Able to set up and or design simple to complex network involving Cisco switches and router.
- Demonstrates ability to diagnose and solve problems.
- Exhibits the ability to follow direction and possesses the ability to follow through.
- Must enjoy the challenge of technical concepts and communication those concepts at varying levels.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work while standing 50 - 70% of the time.
- Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections.
- Ability to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twisting.
- Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors ofwires.
- Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record as this position will require driving a company vehicle.
