We are seeking Resilience & Sustainability Specialist to be in the Carolinas.This position will support our sustainability and resilience teams as we provide solutions that meet our clients' needs.Candidates must have considerable experience in sustainability planning and have developed practical and applicable experience in the industry. Their background must include sustainability planning, leadership, industry recognized accreditation, and experience leading and guiding teams.

For success, this individual must take the actions necessary for a successful business and be responsible for managing and developing clients and assignments for Jacobs. They will be responsible for developing and executing high value consulting services to our public and private sector clients.They must display excellent leadership abilities in relation to company development, client management, and staff development. It is expected that a successful candidate will be an active industry participant with established industry recognition and have the ability to sustain effective, long-term relations with our significant clients. This individual must be capable of working effectively to collaborate across geographies, leverage a wide variety of technical skills, while holding important values sacred, and inspiring all around to raise the bar of excellence.
Primary responsibilities will include:
•Conducting vulnerability assessments of climate hazards and risk, as well as broader community shocks and stress.
•Developing and successfully implementing sustainability (climate adaptation and mitigation) and resilience plans, programs and policies for municipal, state, federal, and private sector clients.
•Directing project teams as a Project Manager and/or Strategic Advisor.
•Participating in teams as technical lead
•Directing marketing teams in the preparation of proposals and similar activities.
•Serving as Strategic Advisor, Project Manager for client engagements.
•Supporting the development, training, and mentoring of junior consulting staff.
•Maintaining availability to travel when required.
•Participating in Jacobs business development matters and other multiple disciplines.
•Focusing on the goal of supporting Jacobs' sustainability and resiliency practice growth both in size and geography.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position should meet the following requirements:
•A minimum of ten years (ideally 15 years) experience in the sustainability and resilience field or related experience.
•Bachelor's degree
•Sustainability or related accreditation (i.e., LEED AP)

Burns & McDonnell is looking for a Senior Sustainability Specialist to lead, scope, and coordinate sustainability program opportunities across Burns and McDonnell's wide range of clients\. This role will be key to coordinating and implementing Burns & McDonnell's wide range of Sustainability Services\.
Primary Responsibilities

+ Lead the sustainability, environmental, social and corporate governance planning services for our clients\. This includes strategy development materiality assessments, and establishment of metrics\.

+ Work with a team of sustainability solutions engineers, scientists and communications specialists to plan and implement sustainable projects to meet our client's goals\.

+ Assist with preparing marketing materials for overall implementation of the marketing/communications strategy for sustainability to broaden the brand both internally and externally\.

+ Participate and lead sustainability planning sessions with our clients and develop plans to assist with plans to achieve their net zero, sustainability, ESG and other goals\.

+ Assist clients with development of Science Based Targets

+ Provide detailed information on various ESG reporting programs to support their sustainability goals and reporting\.

+ Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business to grow services and market share\. Lead and partner with clients in developing sustainability strategies\.

+ Deep understanding of current sustainability challenges within private and public sector clients with proven track record of providing solutions\.

+ Leverage existing relationships to support the growth of Sustainability and ESG opportunities throughout North America\.

+ Prepare proposals and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads\.

+ Build and support relationships with regulatory entities, vendors and product/service companies\.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in sustainability, environmental policy, climate change, planning, environmental engineering, or related field\. Master's Degree preferred\.

+ 10 years experience in Sustainability and ESG planning arena, preferably as a consultant, but will also consider industry experience\.

+ Experienced in sustainability and/or climate resilience planning

+ Experienced with the design and implementation of sustainability programs such as energy, air emissions, waste, and water\.

+ Leadership experience including business development, proposal development, and project management\.

+ Must be experienced in performing exciting informative presentations and having an open dialogue with clients\.

+ Understanding of pertinent accreditations in sustainability and carbon emissions a plus\.

+ Knowledge of GHG Protocol and general corporate sustainability reporting topics\.

+ Good broad understanding of sustainability topics including climate resilience, emerging technologies and renewables, zero waste planning, net\-zero and implementation

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Title:
Sr. Space Ground Facility Sustainment Specialist - TS/SCI

KBR is seeking s Senior Space Ground Facility Sustainment Specialist to support the Narrowband Satellite Communications (NBSC) program at Space Systems Command. This professional will provide support for ground facility and infrastructure maintenance for the Mobile User Objective System. The MUOS ground system includes feeder links, antennas, terminals, radio access facilities, switching facilities, terrestrial network connectivity, and other facilities/infrastructure.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Works high-visibility, mission critical aspects of programs and performs all functional duties independently- oversees and responsible for efforts of subordinates
• Provide system engineering reports for facility management including site surveys, site preparation, and on-site support during vendor installation and site verification
• Participate in TIMs, IPTs, and other meetings and discussions relating to site engineering maintenance and sustainment support, deliverable reviews, and risk assessments
• Manage ground segment installation and maintenance schedules with sufficient detail to track progress, deconflict tasks, and minimize downtime
• Conduct systems / system of systems architecture design, testing, implementation, integration, review, and certification activities
• Conduct data analyses, interpret, and summarize results
• Conduct technical requirements definition / allocation
• Develop technical documentation, to include test plans and reports
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy-oral and written

Required skills:

• Minimum ten (10) years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experience on SATCOM
• Experience supporting installation activities for space ground facilities
• Experience with development of Configuration Control Board (CCB) packages, and other document needed to support hardware and software installation due to obsolescence and system failures/sparing requirements
• Experience creating, editing, and reviewing technical materials for Department of Defense (DoD), Navy acquisition program, or related agencies
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, and risk management
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS)

Desired skills:

• Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in SATCOM/MUOS
• Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS) to Government program office
• Experience developing and editing Extensible Markup Language (XML) technical documents and/or Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant training documentation
• Experience applying regulations and policies affecting publishing of Navy publications; practices, and standards (i.e., Naval Education and Training (NAVEDTRA) Series, MILSTD-29612 Series, and Advanced Distributive Learning (ADL) initiatives)
• Experience with space and/or multi-domain warfighter operations
• Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programs
• Experience in Space Systems Command (SSC) acquisition
• Fluency with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) organizations

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree from an accredited college or university

Clearance:

Location/Travel Requirements:

• Full-time, on site in vicinity of San Diego, CA, and will require travel up to 25% of time within the continental United States
