Here's the Gist:
This unique engineering position provides opportunities to learn multiple semiconductor processing tools. You will gain hands-on experience and you will learn how to apply knowledge and engineering judgment in high-volume production environment. You will use your creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will join a diverse cross-functional team of engineers and technicians. Candidates with excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will be given the utmost priority.

The Day-to-Day:
Sustain and improve critical fab processes for multiple products. Participate in new tools introduction into the fab. Lead improvement projects and provide expertise for new products and process rollouts. Establish relationships across various teams. Lead process technicians and factory operators.

BS or MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field Experience/knowledge of statistical analysis, design of experiments.Experience in semiconductor industry is required

Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will develop strategy and execute programs that reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability at our facilities. You will be the SME responsible for managing engineering project details that help reduce energy and carbon footprint across our facilities in North America and Mexico.

You will work with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify, develop, and execute energy and carbon reduction projects, and integrate energy management concepts into existing and new facilities. Projects will involve energy efficiency, demand response, energy analytics, and other carbon foot-print reduction opportunities.

You'll help analyze and provide report-outs on performance metrics, complete feasibility analysis, and evaluate potential savings opportunities within the energy and carbon space. Have insight into latest emerging technology though insights and seminars.

Manage projects against plans and goals to ensure commitments are met, delivering against our climate pledge goals Promote energy efficiency improvement across energy using systems within a facility including lighting, compressed air systems, electrical, steam -condensate and water usage optimization in areas of wastewater, process water and sanitation Support building utility metering/sub-metering projects helping define and meet meter coverage goals for businesses Prepare written analysis of findings and recommendations for multiple energy and carbon related solutions ·Plan, coordinate and monitors company/plantwide energy use, evaluate energy consumption practices to track and control energy consumption, works with departments and managers to evaluate energy usage practices Prepare cost /benefit analysis on energy related issues and to assist with preparation of budgets for energy and utility retrofits.Prepare grants and rebate applications, written notices and correspondence, maintain records, conduct special studies, collect data pertaining to energy usage.Work with critical stakeholders on developing mechanisms for launching facilities that incorporate energy optimization and sustainability procedures.Support electrical system design change requests that reduce energy consumption.Analyze and communicate the financial impact of projects and initiatives.Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanical or Chemical7 plus years of experience with increasing responsibility in areas of Energy Management and Sustainability.Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings Experience with data analytics Experience training teams on technical topics related to energy conservation and sustainability Experience with the installation and commissioning of electrical systems like lighting, compressed air, and material handling equipment Experience with demand side utility programs and incentives.Experience with water usage optimization on all fronts: process, sanitation and wastewater. Boilers, Steam Condensate system improvements.Experience with Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint50% travel both domestic and international

Job Description:

Typical Responsibilities include:

Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs Troubleshooting process shifts and discrepant material Optimizing process to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts Developing and monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality Analyzing cycle time and equipment overall operational efficiency Writing operating procedures and specifications Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance



Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study. 4+ years of industry microfabrication experience in WET etch/strip processes

Excellent communication skills Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
