Organization Details Our NICU at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, CA is a busy 61 bed Level IV Regional facility with about 1200 admissions per year. This NICU is expanding to 81 beds. Our second NICU located in RosevilleCA is a 16 bed Community level NICU with about 450 admissions per year. Also, with expansion plans. We offer various modes of conventional and high frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, therapeutic whole-body hypothermia for HIE, pre-surgical care for complex congenital heart disease and pre-ECMO care. We are backed by a strong medical and surgical subspecialty Sutter-affiliated community. Our regional transport team is staffed by specially trained nurses and respiratory therapists and brings patients to our NICUs by ground or air from a large geographic area that includes 27 counties. High frequency ventilation, Nitric oxide and active whole-body hypothermia can be provided during transport.We take pride in achieving excellent neonatal outcomes, compared to benchmark, by providing evidence-based medical care. Among regional NICUs in California, we have one of the highest survival rates without significant morbidity for neonates
