Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly. Requirements: Experience of working with your hands, whether that's in construction, manufacturing or even a hobby. Having experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful. It is helpful, but not necessary to have an art background. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind than this is not the job for you. The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment. We are also looking for individuals with: Attention to detail. The FSE will support our advanced line of electric and hydraulic GSE by providing installation, maintenance, repair, and customer training services across the Americas. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-oriented, and ready to travel when needed. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair ground support equipment at client sites Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues Lead field integration of new electric product lines Conduct preventative maintenance and compliance inspections Provide technical support and training to customers Maintain accurate service documentation and reconcile expenses Serve as the post-sale customer contact and technical expert Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician (GSE preferred) Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Experience with high-voltage systems (80VDC+), motors, controllers, and batteries is a plus Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Must be comfortable with U.S. and international travel Self-starter with strong customer service mindset Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings OSHA or safety certifications a plus Benefits: Competitive hourly rate (up to $28.00/hr) Travel opportunities across North & South America Bonus potential and career advancement Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Work with a leading manufacturer in a fast-growing industry Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally Regular use of hands, tools, standing, walking, and reaching Travel required; valid passport preferred
