Prior to joining the Walt Disney Company's Internet Group, Mr. Kates worked for Business Planning and Development for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. In this role, he worked on various projects including Disney Cruise Lines and various theme park related initiatives. Mr. Kates earned his MBA from J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated with a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Emory University.

DeTuno has introduced progressive social, mobile, advertising, commerce and next generation search experiences resulting in strong positive cash flows and growing audiences. DeTuno has served as a senior management strategy consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and as a strategy executive at Bank of America. He has held product management and marketing roles at CollegeClub.com and Microsoft. DeTuno serves on the Board of Directors for the California Academic Decathlon and FunnelBrain. He is an investor in early stage startup companies and is the co-inventor of patents in the areas of search, information security and social media.
