The Mission of the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is to protect and promote the health of all San Franciscans. SFDPH strives to achieve its mission through the work of multiple divisions - the San Francisco Health Network, Population Health, Behavioral Health Services, and Administration. The San Francisco Health Network is the City's only complete system of care and has locations throughout the City, including Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, and over 15 primary care health centers. The Population Health Division (PHD) provides core public health services for the City and County of San Francisco: health protection, health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and disaster preparedness and response. Behavioral Health Services operates in conjunction with SFHN and provides a range of mental health and substance use treatment services.
Job Description
Duties Include
Family physician, internist or medical subspecialist
Evaluates patient signs and symptoms, reviews laboratory and radiological data, diagnoses complex cases, and institutes treatments as appropriate. May serve as a consultant to other physicians, including specialists in other fields.
Surgical specialist or subspecialist
Evaluates patient signs and symptoms, reviews laboratory and radiological data, recommends, performs, and consults on specialized surgical procedures within his or her specialty field.
Pediatrician
Examines, diagnoses, and treats pediatric patients; refers to other physicians, clinics, and agencies when so indicated.
Obstetrician/gynecologist
Provides obstetrical and gynecological care including screening, diagnosis, treatment, prenatal and obstetrical care.
Specialist in occupational health
Conducts pre-employment physical examinations of candidates for city service; when designated by the Civil Service Commission, assesses medical or physical competence of staff to perform assigned duties; participates in the identification and assessment of occupational hazards and injuries; develops and implements preventive and educational strategies.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a valid license to practice medicine issued by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California*

The Position of Associate Dean:
The Associate Dean assists the Dean in carrying out the mission and achieving the vision of the College. Essential Duties

Plan, organize, and implement the day camp program and activities. Plans must be well thought out, presented to the Recreation Centers Program Manager for approval, and regularly shared with the camp counselors.

Working Conditions: Requirements and Demands
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees' general work area is divided between an indoor smoke-free environment with controlled temperature and fluorescent lighting and the outdoors. Employees will be required to work during various weather conditions, including cold and hot temperatures.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, some bending, kneeling, and reaching items off the floor and high shelves are required. Performing repetitive hand/arm movements as when playing games or sports. Able to sit and stand for sustained periods while interacting with children. Constant getting up and down from the floor and child-size table and chairs to accomplish daily activities. Physical set up of programs, special events, services, and facilities. Reading handwritten information and writing legibly. The employee must lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
Work Status
The Summer Day Camp Director position is a seasonal position with the option to work in other areas within the department once the camp season has concluded. This position will have hours that occur from December - August. Work hours from December - June will be used for summer day camp planning, ranging from 0 to 25 hours per week, with a majority of the planning hours worked January - May . This position is expected to work 40 hours per week during Summer Day Camp, generally from early June through mid-August.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The OPS Environmental Specialist III (37950209), is in the Division of Environmental Assessment Water Quality Monitoring Program. The position serves as data manager of physical, chemical, and biological data pertaining to surface and groundwater quality collected for the division's Statewide Status and Trend Water Quality Monitoring Networks. The division is tasked with protecting, maintaining, and improving the quality of Florida's springs, rivers, lakes, estuaries, and coastal waters. The position will assist with the division's expectations by loading environmental data into, and maintaining data within, an Oracle database.
The incumbent will be responsible for loading field generated data from ESRI Survey123 cloud services, and analytical data generated from the department's laboratory, into the database, and then merging these datasets for water quality sampling events. The merged data are then made available to the data generators for their review via an in-house computer application accessing the database. Once the data are thoroughly reviewed, and any necessary corrections are made by the incumbent, the data are deemed acceptable for public release. The reviewed data are loaded into the division's Watershed Information Network database for departmental and public use.
Candidates should have a background in database management and be capable of writing Structured Query Language (SQL) code. The candidate will need to have good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with the data coordinator and other team members.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Post-secondary degrees from an accredited college or university with a major in engineering, engineering sciences, chemistry, environmental science, natural sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, environmental policy, computer science, or public health may be used as an alternative for the required years of experience on a year-for-year basis. A credential evaluation report from an approved agency must be submitted along with all foreign degrees.
Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of relational database management systems
