The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of a classroom. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to twenty (20) pounds. QUALIFICATIONS * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services area (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Addictions Counseling, or Mental Health) with current licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licenses Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and 3 years non-teaching work experience in the field. * At least 3 years non-teaching related work experience * Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, as well as intermediate computer skills. * Must be familiar with interactive teaching methods and instruction via the Internet PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * College level teaching experience * Working knowledge of Blackboard course management system * Bilingual English/Spanish Welcome to Alvin, Texas!
