Weekly pay

Cons of working at Sweet Street

So many to list...unequal pay, favoritism, pay raises based on friendships not work performance, daily changes in policy, promotions for least qualified, racist toward non spanish employees, policies are used against employess depending of who employee is, unsafe, unsanitary conditions

Sweet Street benefits

The only benefit is weekly pay

What do you like best about Sweet Street's CEO and the leadership team?

Sandy used to visit the plant regularly and interact with employess. Her new management does not allow her to walk unchaperoned through the plant and does not allow employees to interact. They are trying to save money by putting employee safety at risk and using cheaper, low quality ingredients.

How would you improve Sweet Street's culture?

I would start by firing Justin Krasley for destroying what was once a good company and continue to fire all the way down the line and not stop until I got to the department supervisors.

How did you prepare for the Sweet Street interview?

I started as a temp and interviewed during my shift. HR asks questions that people typically lie about, hoping to catch you in a lie. They don't value their employees and the interview process is not professional nor does it need to be prepared for.

How does your compensation at Sweet Street compare to the industry average?

Sweet Street pays employees much less than other similar companies. They gives annual raises of ten to twenty cents. They do not pay a living wage, offer paid time off, accept doctors notes, or allow vacation time to be used when requested-vacation time is taken over plant shut down weeks only. No exceptions.

What's the diversity at Sweet Street like?

Thus is a mainly spanish company that rarely hires white or black individuals. If you do not speak Spanish, good luck.

What brings you the most joy at Sweet Street?

Leaving at the end of the day.
