The position allows you daily interface with customers and FANUC America Corporation (FAC) personnel in a technical training capacity. In addition, the instructor will interface with other groups within FAC to ensure that training materials being presented are in accordance with the latest information available regarding product development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide technical training for customers, distributors and employees.
Teach FANUC curriculum, the classes will contain the following:
Power Point Presentations with Objectives and tasks
Detailed Instructor outlines
Student outlines and handouts
Objective based exercises
Pre-test and post test
Use of simulators or machine tools
Report discrepancies between product and documentation to appropriate departments
Suggest improvements to the class curriculum.
Prepare and maintain classrooms, training simulators and laboratory and the training office area to ensure a “Best in Class” training experience for the students.
Provide feedback to improve FAC's employee culture and customer experience.
Provide support to customers and FAC departments by answering technical questions and advising appropriate action to resolve a problem.
Reliable, consistent attendance required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient communication, presentation skills and computer skills.
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English skills
Ability to learn new technical and troubleshooting skills.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
Understand basic Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic theory
Proficient Electronic and Basic Electrical and Mechanical print reading
Ability to complete assigned projects as scheduled. The completed project(s) must conform to specifications as defined by project team leadership and/or cRc Training Department Management.
Ability to interface with other technical writers and instructors for the purposes of project coordination, continuity and completion.
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and suggests solutions to eliminate them.
Associate degree in Education, Instructional Design, technical related field, or equivalent experience. Bachelor degree preferred
Experience with production automation process operations and functionality.

The course will be delivered in Muskegon, Michigan at Muskegon Community College. HRT 211 contact hours will be 2 hours of lecture, recitation, or discussion per week and 2 hours of lab per week (4 hours of total contact time per week) for 15 weeks of instruction.
Course Description:
Identification, adaptation, and evaluation of shade trees, narrow-leaved evergreens, shrubs, woody vines, herbs, ornamental grasses, and herbaceous perennials.
Course Objectives:
1) To learn how to identify plant species common to the Great Lakes area horticulture trade. This includes knowing the scientific name(s), selected cultivars, common name(s), and the plant family. Identification involves seeing parts of the plant or the whole plant. HRT 211 is organized by plant families and covers many types of deciduous trees, shrubs, vines, perennials, and bulbs. (Annuals and evergreens have been moved to HRT 211 and this change is in process over the next few years.
2) To develop an appreciation for the great diversity and beauty of ornamental landscape plants.
3) To be able to select plants for specific purposes and site conditions. This includes knowing the environmental requirements of specific plants, their desirable and undesirable characteristics, and their landscape.
4) To be familiar with selected reference books, source guides, and other resources.

Maintains a positive attitude and acts in a professional manner when interacting with members, participants and staff at all times.
Acts as a responder in case of injury, accident, or illness in the pool area and provides backup to lifeguards as needed in emergencies and crowd control.
Reports all injuries and completes all required forms.
Plans and prepares for all swim lessons with the goals and abilities of the students in mind and communicates effectively with parents as needed.
Completes all necessary paperwork to include but not limited to: progress reports, skill charts, evaluation reports, and completion certificates.
Sets up the facility and equipment needed and puts away all equipment upon completion of lessons.
All other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

The Swim Lesson Instructor or Coach will impact the communities understanding of the Y and its mission. Requirements
Must be at least 15 years of age.
Prior swim lesson experience preferred.
Current CPR and 1st aid training required or ability to obtain in the first 60 days of employment.
SWIM LESSONS-
YMCA of the USA Swim lesson instructor certification required OR ability to obtain with in the first 90 days of employment
COACH-
USA Swimming coaches' safety training required OR ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment
Proficiency in swimming and safety skills is required.
Must possess a cooperative spirit committed to character development by promoting and demonstrating caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility to staff, lay leaders, YMCA members, program participants and the general public.
Ability to relate with pool patrons in a positive manner.
Must be professional, alert, courteous, and tactful.
Must be mentally alert to dangerous situations in order to assure the safety of all staff and swimmers.
Multi-lingual ability is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies and administer CPR and First Aid effectively.
Ability to demonstrate swimming skills and ability to project voice and be heard in pool area.
Physically able to see, hear, and communicate clearly.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for long periods of time.
Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
Must be able to lift and carry food and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to assist participants weighing up to 180 pounds.
Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time.
Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling, and walking.
Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.
Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency.
