Qualifications:
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with no more than two moving violations in a 12-month period, and/or no more than three moving violations in a 24-month period. Driving records not complying with the foregoing will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

This is a part-time position. Hours will range from 25 to 38 hours per week with no weekend shifts. Typical shifts are from Monday - Thursday 9:30AM-5:15PM and Fridays 9:30AM-3:15PM.
* Must be available for paid training Wednesday, June 17 - Friday, June 19, 2026.
* New Hires must be available for all 6 weeks of the summer aquatics season from June 22 - July 31, 2026. Returners must be available for majority of the summer.

Lifeguard Certification

What You Will Do
Lifeguards/SwimInstructors will ensure the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies and instructing swim lessons for participants of all ages.
The essential functions of this position include: maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to ensure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency; provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services; perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility; prepare and maintain appropriate reports; possess thorough knowledge of rescue techniques; understand and enforcement of facility rules, policies and procedures, demonstrate leadership, public relations skills and decision-making skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Position requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, reaching, kneeling, stretching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. The position also requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate pool equipment and tools. The position requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to monitor and communicate appropriate pool activity. The need to lift, drag and push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds is also required. Some of these requirements may be accommodated for otherwise qualified individuals requiring and requesting such accommodation.
