Areas of Responsibility: Ensures the safety of every individual at the YMCA, both in and around the pool as well as the rest of the facility. We are looking for an experienced and committed sailor to join our team as a Junior Sailing Instructor for the 2026 summer season! Summary: As a Junior Sailing Instructor, you will work to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment for members to learn to sail; and develop the skills of already proficient sailors in both recreational and competitive sailing. Reports To: Head Sailing Instructor and Sailing Director The Sailing Instructor position is full-time for 8 weeks. Dates of Employment: mid-June to mid-August 2026 Daily meals are provided. The junior program has a fleet of Optis, Feva's and 420's. Sailors in the program will range from 8 to 17 years and is mid-sized with 40-60 students.
