ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The swim instructor is responsible for instructing all swim lesson participants This position is also responsible for the safety of the participant in their own class Work hours as scheduled which includes beginning and ending class on time; remaining after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed and clean up supplies. Under the guidance of the Gymnastics/Program Director, the Gymnastics Instructor teaches the gymnastics sessions. The instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and documenting each lesson. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plan and teach the gymnastics daily sessions Teach Saturday morning parent & tot and pre-gym classes. Supervise “open gym” time. Maintain the gymnastics center in a safe condition. Report to director any safety issue. Take care of any pre-session and post-session cleaning/maintenance duties. Attend scheduled staff meetings. Execute a written report on any injuries or accidents that occur while on duty. Supervise a birthday party according to the guidelines set forth in the manual. Under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator/Director and in accordance with the policies of the YMCA of Southwest Florida, the Swim Instructor provides swim lessons/ private or group to children and adults of all levels and abilities based on YMCA standards and program requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The swim instructor is responsible for instructing all swim lesson participants This position is also responsible for the safety of the participant in their own class Work hours as scheduled which includes beginning and ending class on time; remaining after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed and clean up supplies. Swim Lesson experience or Competitive Swim Experience is a plus! Under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator/Director and in accordance with the policies of the YMCA of Southwest Florida, the Swim Instructor provides swim lessons/ private or group to children and adults of all levels and abilities based on YMCA standards and program requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The swim instructor is responsible for instructing all swim lesson participants This position is also responsible for the safety of the participant in their own class Work hours as scheduled which includes beginning and ending class on time; remaining after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed and clean up supplies. Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons Submits completed report cards, skills sheets and attendance information on time Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service. All other duties as assigned and appropriate Attend regularly scheduled, mandatory staff meetings. Utilize time clock and monitor timesheet. Bring any corrections to supervisor within a timely manner Responsible for upholding all staff safety requirements including cleaning protocols throughout the day, as required by my department.
