Responsibilities
Position Summary
As a Simulator Instructor, you will have a direct impact on PSA Airlines' growth by working with the Check Airman Supervisor and Flight Training Administration, ensuring that early-stage training for pilots is scheduled, progressing well, and records retained properly. You will also help the Director of Training and Manager of Simulator Training and Standards ensure departmental goals and policies and procedures are up to date. You will not be line qualified or on the PSA Pilot Seniority list in this position.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide early-stage Flight Instruction in a Full Flight Simulator as well as occasional ground instruction
* Instruct Initial, Upgrading and Transitioning PSA Pilots.
* Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures.
* Completion of Student Training Records
* Developmental duties as assigned
* Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director the water aerobics instructor is responsible for instructing safe, effective and fun group exercise classes, as well as enhancing the quality of the program. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Experience in teaching water aerobics
Must hold and maintain current nationally recognized certification in the type of class you are teaching.
Certification can be from any nationally accredited organization that certifies water aerobics.
Must be willing to teach a minimum of 2 regularly scheduled water aerobics classes per week.
Provide a safe and effective workout in the class format scheduled, in accordance with current accepted practices of exercise physiology.
Supervise and guide the participants through an age appropriate workout that incorporates appropriate warm-up, cardiovascular endurance, cool down, strength and flexibility. Be aware of the various abilities of the participants and potential problems associated with poor form.
Ability to motivate and inspire participants
Modify exercises to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities
Provide a safe aquatic environment by keeping workout area or entrance to pool area clear of free of obstacles. Responsible for cleaning, organizing and maintaining all equipment especially following class.
Reduce risk of injury by adhering to national safety guidelines.
Demonstrate variations or modifications to encourage participants to pace themselves, and keep movements pain free.
Know and follow emergency procedures as situations warrant
Act as a primary responder in case of injury, accident, or illness in the pool area and provides backup to lifeguard as needed in emergencies and crowd control.
Start and finish classes on time. If unable to teach a class, instructor will find a substitute to cover assigned classes.
Participate in staff activities (meetings, staff functions).
Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED/Basic First Aid
Must maintain all appropriate certifications and provide copies of all certifications to aquatics director each year.

As a Swim Instructor, you'll play a vital role in teaching children of all ages how to swim while creating a positive, supportive learning environment. What You'll Do:
Teach Swim Lessons: Lead swim lessons for children of various ages and skill levels, tailoring your approach to help each student succeed.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the safety of all students in and around the water by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Track Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents to support continuous improvement.
Collaborate & Support: Work closely with other instructors to create a fun and engaging learning environment. Share knowledge, support each other, and grow as a team.
Promote Positive Culture: Foster a supportive, inclusive, and fun atmosphere that builds confidence in students and contributes to a positive work culture.
