Responsibilities: Teach within our set swim curriculum and have students achieve goals within a given period of time. Have fun! Create an amazing swim lesson experience for our swimmers. Educate and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents & maintain discipline. Use appropriate oral communication skills with children and coworkers. Be a team player and work well with others! Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Requirements: GENUINE love for teaching children. Ability to swim; swimming background is beneficial but not required. Ability to communicate well & build relationships. Availability to work evenings and/or weekends. Must be able to adhere to Instructor Attendance requirement of 90% (For example, must be able to commit to teaching your assigned classes 9 weeks out of 10). Previous work experience. (volunteer or paid). Reliable form of transportation to/from work Willingness to be in the water for 4 hours.
