Position Objective:
Swim Instructors teach FUN, small group classes in our indoor, warm water pools. Swim lessons are taught at the pace of each child depending on age and skill. Position Overview
Gulliver Preparatory School is currently seeking part-time Swim Instructors to join our team of professionals. The Swim Instructor will demonstrate competency to teach and lead specific skills and activities in the water. Adherence to the Gulliver Enrichment program teaching curriculum ensures that each student in the program learns water survival skills and then professes to propulsion and stroke development in a fun and gentle environment. This is a highly skilled water safety work at City swimming pool facilities. This position copes with large groups, including children, monitoring both visually and audible to insure safety, facility rules and health standards. Morning Summer Lifeguarinding from 9:00am-11:00am
Qualifications:
A proven track record of 2 or more years in water teaching experience from Infants to Adults at a previous swim school.
At Least 18 Years Old
Possession of a current lifeguard certification or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is mandatory to embark on this heroic journey.
Ability to commute between locations for group lessons and Summer Lifeguarding
