QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 16 Years of age. Must be energetic, creative, enthusiastic and work well with children. Ability to communicate and teach swimming skills to students in an effective manner Current YMCA Swim Instructor or Red Cross WSI Certification, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Oxygen Administration. New Staff Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood Borne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment, and Y Leader training within 30 days of hire date. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to carry out all requirements of a YMCA certified Swim Instructor.
