Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant specific nuclear licensed operations training programs.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Coordinates, and conducts performance-based operations Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.
Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with 6 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience OR
Associate's degree in a technical discipline, education, or training with 4 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience OR
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or related science, education or training with 2 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience
The requirements as outlined above meet or exceed ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.5.4) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial nuclear training
Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and teach cryptologic materials/content to mirror SIGINT analyst tasks and update existing materials to meet DoD and customer training requirements.
Clarify and document customer operational requirements, training objectives, and level of materials.
Assist in the prioritization of requirements for training development.
Research and leverage classified and unclassified domain-specific resources for relevant, authentic language content.
Develop training materials to include transcription, translation, and analysis of operational, task-based exercises, as appropriate.
Collaborate with instructors and other Government and Contractor developers in the design, development, and documentation of domain-specific training materials.
Employ technology (ex. Audacity, Adobe C5S, Adobe Premier) in developing training materials for learning that combine blended delivery modes such as online, distance, asynchronous eLearning technology, and self-paced instruction.
Collaborate with SIGINT Operations technical experts as well as other Government and Contractor instructors and developers to obtain and develop training materials.
Develop practical evaluations to test the student's mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives.
Identify and recommend learning applications and tools that enhance training delivery.
Team with other Government, contract instructors, and developers.
Ability to demonstrate required skills through work-related tasks in accordance with Government guidance.
Meet skill level requirements for Microsoft Outlook Level 1, PowerPoint Level 1, and Word Level 1.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Class description: An introduction to ecology, evolution, and population biology including the relationships among organisms, responses to stress, the mechanisms of genetic change and maintenance of diversity, mechanisms of evolution and speciation, biogeography, energy flow through ecosystems and resource allocation, food webs and ecosystem services, and biogeochemical cycles.
We invite applicants to teach the lecture only, the lab only, or both. BL154 lecture meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-9:15 AM. BL155 lab meets Tuesdays from 1:40-5:30 PM. Some off-campus field trips occur during the lab periods. For both lecture and lab, a faculty coordinator will provide support to all sections as well as the syllabus, lab activities, and powerpoint slides. Lab staff will complete the preparation of lab materials. Expect ~10 hours of commitment per week per course (3-4 hours for course meeting times, 1 hour for office hours, 5 hours of preparation and grading). Office hours can be scheduled at the instructor's convenience but should be consistent from week to week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Protective Force (PF) is accepting applications for the position of Protective Force Shift Instructor / Administrative Supervisor
.
The PF Shift Instructor provides course instruction to PF uniformed officers and support personnel to ensure knowledge, skills, abilities, and the desired level of proficiency is achieved and maintained in accordance with federal regulations, DOE directives, and PF policies and procedures.
The PF Shift Instructor must be willing to work a flexible schedule (to include nights and weekends) with varying hours at all DOE HQ facilities and approved training locations in order to meet the DOE HQ training mission and training requirements.
The PF Shift Instructor will be expected to perform Supervisory functions to include but not limited to post audits and inspections, assist with day-to-day security operations, adhere to and enforce Protective Force Standards of performance and conduct as directed by Protective Force leadership. Applicant must be certified in Central Alarm Station (CAS) operations or meet requirements that reasonably assure the individual will be certified within 90 days of assuming the position.
Qualifications:
Applicant must possess a DOE (L or Q) security clearance or meet requirements that reasonably assure a (Q) security clearance can be obtained and maintained.
Applicant must possess at least five years of demonstrated experience and knowledge of law enforcement or security methodologies.
