MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, Experiences:
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Must be certified as a WSI First Aid & CPR. Should have experience in swim courses. This position requires good interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and visual awareness. The WSI is required to interact with all users of the pool. Must be able to relate rules and directions. This position requires the ability to provide support and encouragement to swimmers, and to communicate with the Aquatic Supervisor and the City of Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department.

Under general supervision of the Aquatics Manager, teach water safety courses, including Basic Water Rescue and Personal Water Safety, Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, and the Learn-to-Swim Aquatics program.
