Swim Instructors help swimming students develop comfort in the water and improve their swimming skills. Your primary role will be to teach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water. These Instructors are responsible for teaching individualized adaptive swim lessons. The hours are flexible and the pay rate is $15/per 30-minute lesson. Swim School Instructors will work in the pool with children of all ages, as well as adults. The Swim School Instructor is a year-round position, with hours ranging from day-time and evening during the school year at two indoor facilities, as well as mornings Monday through Saturday during the summer at the outdoor facility. Swim Instructors will report directly to the Swim School Coordinator. Applicants must be reliable, punctual, mature and at least 14 years of age (though 16 is preferred due to labor restrictions conflicting with program times). All Applicants will be hired on the basis of an application, availability, interview, and experience. These Instructors are responsible for teaching individualized adaptive swim lessons. The hours are flexible and the pay rate is $15/per 30-minute lesson.
