These Instructors are responsible for teaching individualized adaptive swim lessons. The hours are flexible and the pay rate is $20/hour. Be Familiar and comfortable with the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Use a variety of swim lesson equipment to accomplish benchmark skills. Communication Update availability on the GOOGLE spreadsheet and adjust seasonally. Read e-mail communications regarding new lessons scheduled in a 48-hour time window. Connect via e-mail to lesson families PRIOR to the first lesson to gather any necessary information. Swim School Instructors will work in the pool with children of all ages, as well as adults. The Swim School Instructor is a year-round position, with hours ranging from day-time and evening during the school year at two indoor facilities, as well as mornings Monday through Saturday during the summer at the outdoor facility. Swim Instructors will report directly to the Swim School Coordinator. Applicants must be reliable, punctual, mature and at least 14 years of age (though 16 is preferred due to labor restrictions conflicting with program times).
