Adventure Instructors will have the opportunity to: Coach participants on our 30 ft indoor rock wall Lead participants through two levels (25 and 35 feet) on the Hitchcock High Ropes Challenge Course (HHRCC) Guide participants hiking and biking utilizing nearby trails and parks. Knows and reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies, guidelines and program standards for the pool and aquatics area. Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the health department code. Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed. Assists with the general maintenance and upkeep of the aquatics facility. Performs chemical testing when not guarding, as required, and takes appropriate action.
