EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • 5+ years of coaching experience. • Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. • Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. • Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and students. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Comprehensive knowledge of the sport is paramount. • Knowledge of NFHS and FHSAA rules. • Demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise student athletes. • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • The applicant must possess the ability to relate to students and to serve as a positive role model and BMC Ambassador for all constituents. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is performed indoors and outdoors. Works frequently in close physical proximity to others and may encounter work in enclosed or tight spaces. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time, lift at least 40 pounds, walk, bend, crouch, talk, feel, grasp, hear and perform repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and arms. Also requires carrying, kneeling, stooping, and balancing. Job incumbent also required to read/see up close and from afar.
